Ken Aston
Director – Site Development, Drilling, Blasting and Quarry Services
Ken Aston is a founding partner of Site Services Group (SSG). Ken has more than four decades of hands-on industry experience. Raised in the excavation business, Ken learned the trade from the ground up, working alongside his father before founding his own excavation, drilling, and blasting company in 1980.
Throughout his career, Ken has led complex site development projects, bulk material handling system installations, and large-scale infrastructure initiatives, including work for state salt shed facilities and the 2,000-acre CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park in northeast Pennsylvania. Known for his precision, safety leadership, and operational expertise, Ken has built a reputation for delivering high-quality results on demanding projects.
He is a Class A Licensed Blaster in Pennsylvania and a member of the International Society of Explosives Engineers.
Jim Gaidula, P.E.
Director – Civil Engineering and Site Operations
Jim Gaidula, P.E., is a founding partner of Site Services Group (SSG). Jim brings decades of experience in infrastructure, land development, and environmental engineering. A Penn State University graduate, Jim temporarily paused his studies to serve honorably in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm before completing his Civil Engineering degree.
His diverse project portfolio includes roadway reconstruction, wastewater treatment facilities, and complex land development initiatives. Jim is highly experienced in navigating local, state, and federal permitting processes, consistently delivering successful outcomes for clients. Known for his hands-on leadership style and strong technical expertise, he is licensed as a Professional Engineer and Sewage Enforcement Officer in Pennsylvania.
Justin Janowicz
Director – Project and Field Operations
Justin Janowicz is a Junior Partner at Site Services Group (SSG), where he brings nearly two decades of hands-on construction and site development experience. A lifelong resident of Spring Brook Township, Justin earned his degree in Building Construction Technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
He began his career with Diamondback Contracting, building a strong foundation in residential construction and project management before joining SSG in 2011 as a Construction Inspector. Through dedication and hard work, he advanced through roles including laborer, machine operator, and site foreman. His leadership, attention to detail, and strong work ethic led to his promotion to Junior Partner in 2024.
